Obama warns of 'quiet riot' among blacks unemployed I'll clarify because that was confusing.
I just starting typing furiously and didn't read back over it. I'm not generalizing all whites do anything. Maybe a majority, but that's just my personal bias. I don't think everyone feels the same way, but look at some of the hateful comments mad here. We want you to write a 10k check? Are you serious. Did someone tell you that? Many of his supporters are young and I think much more accepting than the previous generation. The fact that most of his supporters are white doesn't speak to the porportion of that to the number of white people in the country. Let's say 5 million white people people donated to his louis vuitton alma tasche i campaign out of 7 million (made up numbers), but there are 100 million white people. The 2 million left over may be out of 10 million people of other races. This is how I see it. There may be a ton of people on the coattails but that is not even a drop in the bucket compared to the people calling him Osama and the like. I don't think I implied racism is a one way street. If you thought I did it was not louis vuitton shoes new zealand intended that way. Anyone who knows me thinks I'm over the top when it comes to racial issues and I know it. Everybody uses Jesse and Al as the posterkids for black racism, but what can they actually effect change on. Pretty much nothing serious and that's why most people don't pay them any attention. Come on, nobody took AL seriously when he ran for president. Not even me. The $10K check was a broad generalization of what the basis of reparations are IMO, nothing more. I realize it isn't a majority of blacks that are clamouring for them. This is really the issue. There are racists on both sides that raise the ire of those who normally try hard NOT to make race an issue. I admittedly fall into the group of those who TRY not to be racial but get very reactionary when I'm pounded on by the more vocal black crowd that blames everything on racism and the general white population without being specific as to thier target. When blacks say, "most whites" in referrence to racial issues it implies that most whites are responsible for the plight of blacks and that simply is no longer accurrate. Your ire for inequities that you face at this point should be aimed solely at the government at this point. To blame "most whites" would be the equivelant of blaming us for illegal immigration. We are as powerless to do anything about it as you other than in our own surroundings in our own little microcosm of society. Even so, I'm not sure what the government can really do about it either. You simply cannot legislate racism away if that's what you feel the problem is. It is something that is fading away as generations roll on, but no law will erradicate it. I'll answer this backwards, last line first. I personally CANNOT STAND anyone who says "I don't see color". Pure and utter bullt from anyone that spouts it. It's a stupid statement. Say, "Color doesn't matter to me" or something, but don't insult the intelligence of everyone with that apologist catch phrase. And as far as the rest for me personally it depends. I mean how often does one get the forum to discuss this during thier normal day somewhere other than a message board??? It isn't exactly a discussion that you pull out of the air to talk about unless it's within the context of an ongoing discussion. Frankly I've never had the opportunity to test your theory because I've never run into a black man in the street or at the office complaining about how whitey is keeping him down, or challenging me because whites dare think Obama is black or whatever. And, we do rely much on the media for our day to day facts (that form our view of the world). The media tends to highlight those things that sell newspapers Even if they are half truths. And, until someone really sits down and puts together all the real facts of what happened over the years (during and after slavery), all discussions and arguments will simply be incomplete and inaccurate. And, what I am talking about here is a good and impartial analysis of the economic situations and conditions that existed in this country (for all races and their various people in the various economic levels), the actual crime statistics for all races that took place (right up to the present date), and other social and evolution facts that took place in this country. There are plenty of books and articles published about some specific occurences or histories of certain periods. And, that is usually made obvious by even other books and articles that contradict or add other infuencing facts to the subject matters. We hear of all the "beta" projects on the internet to construct useful web sites or software. Perhaps we the people should get together with our own "beta" project on the internet, and really reconstruct the history of our country, and then reconcile our relationships. Justone321 You are right, there are people living 15 to a room Just like many other new immigrant groups did in the past. Just like many other immigrant groups did before them. That's what it sometimes takes to get a better life. We let this evolve into what it now is To the point that our people in congress are now making decisions about it on their own (no matter what we feel or say). When 5% of the population controls 95% of the wealth there is justification for a riot or a revolution. Particularly when the 5% have effectively disenfranchised the 95% by corrupting the congress and the administration. Race has nothing to do with this provocation. Something is really screwy with the rescue/rebuilding of New Orleans and a non partisan, if possible, Federal attorney should get busy looking at where all the money went. OJ was found not guilty because he did not kill anyone. I base this on the observation that the pizza delivery guy was much younger and stronger than OJ and OJ hands are too crippled to let him tie his shoes. I am speculating that the pizza delivery guy (I have never heard of a 35 year old male with a middle class background delivering pizza) was actually the candy man delivering drugs to the household. I also speculate that he got behind in his payments to his suppliers and they sent a couple of guys to teach him a lesson. He fought back and was slaughtered. Mrs. OJ was collateral damage and killed because she was a witness. The whole thing was very thorough and professional. When OJ came home and saw his wife dead in, what must have been, a huge puddle of blood he freaked out and took the famous drive. This makes far more sense air yeezy louis vuitton shoes to me than the prosecutors attempt at fame and political glory. Maybe I should write crime fiction. I think my version is a good story. Oh yeah Illegal workers are way cheaper to hire than citizens because they are cheaper and easier to cheat. Good for the bottom line. The replies are all over the place. Obama IMO believes he can do what louis vuitton mens bracelet Duval Patrick did in MA come out of no where and defeat the incumbent candidate (alhtough not quite the same thing). It's almost certain their will be a democrat in the White House. History shows it, and the recent power chang in the legistilative branch confirms it. That said, Obama isn't going to match up against Hilary. Quite frankly he's a novelty, people are amused by the prospect but when it comes to it, the DNC will hang it's hat on Hillary and the change to bring back the "Clinton years". In regards to his comment, I'm not putting a whole lot of extra thought in it.
He said what he said based on the audience he was speaking to. It was most likely meant to be sensationalized to get press. It happens every year, Bush right now is a great punching bag for any Democratic candidate (right or wrongly so).
