Senior investigating officer DCI Martin Pasmore said 12 people came out of the pub alongside the men who have been convicted, and they may have been involved. He said the investigation into the attack on the Cambridge United fan would go on until all those responsible were brought to justice. The police officer stood outside Basildon Crown Court today (July 17) with Simon Dobbin's wife Nicole after 12 men were sentenced in relation to the attack, which left Mr Dobbin, 45, with severe brain damage. "First I have to say this is an amazing family and we have been so grateful for the support we have had all the way through this investigation," said DCI Pasmore.
